Refund policy

Our return and cancellation terms depend on the delivery destination and product type. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

1. Return eligibility

For orders delivered within the United States:

Non-personalized handcrafted items may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Print-on-demand products, including apparel, mugs, flags, and other printed goods, are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. This includes ordering the wrong size or color. Please review product details and size guides before ordering.

For orders delivered outside the United States:

We accept returns of non-personalized items, including print-on-demand products, within 14 days of delivery. Items should be unused and in their original condition, with tags and original packaging where applicable. These condition requirements do not restrict statutory rights.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective items unless applicable law requires otherwise. We do not charge a restocking fee. We do not offer exchanges for non-defective items; you may request an eligible return and place a separate order.

2. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

For any delivery destination, please email CharityMakesStuff@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery if an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or with a printing error. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos.

For confirmed issues, we will arrange a replacement at no extra charge, subject to production and shipping times, or issue a full refund if a replacement is unavailable. You do not need to return the affected item.

The 14-day reporting request does not limit rights or remedies available under applicable law.

3. How to request a return

Email CharityMakesStuff@gmail.com with your order number and the items you wish to return. We will provide authorization and return instructions. Please do not send items back before contacting us.

For returns exercised under statutory withdrawal rights, any applicable legal requirements take precedence over our authorization process.

4. Exclusions and statutory rights

Personalized products and products made to a customer’s individual specifications are excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law. Printing a standard design after an order is placed does not, by itself, make an item personalized.

For EU customers, applicable statutory withdrawal rights remain in place, including the right to notify us of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery for qualifying purchases. Statutory exceptions apply only where legally permitted. Defective-item rights remain unaffected.

5. Refunds

We will inspect authorized returns and notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 calendar days of receiving the return. For approved claims that do not require a return, we will issue the refund within 10 calendar days of approval.

Your payment provider or bank may take additional time to post the funds. For Shopify Payments refunds, this can take up to 10 business days after issuance.

Where applicable law requires a different refund deadline or treatment of delivery charges, we will follow those requirements.

6. Order cancellations

For orders delivered within the United States, submit cancellation requests within 15 minutes of placing the order.

For orders delivered outside the United States, cancellation requests are accepted until the order is fulfilled.

Email CharityMakesStuff@gmail.com with your order number. Requests are assessed based on when they are received, not when we read them. These cancellation windows do not limit applicable statutory withdrawal or other consumer rights.

7. Missing packages

If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate your package, check with household members, neighbors, and the carrier, then contact CharityMakesStuff@gmail.com. We will help investigate and determine the appropriate next steps.
